I’m a committed research scientist with a PhD in molecular biology from Barts Cancer Institute, Queen Mary University of London, and solid experience in life sciences across both academic and industrial settings. I’m especially passionate about cancer biology and the power of innovative, cross-disciplinary research.
I’ve been fortunate to take part in international research collaborations with Big Pharma, where I’ve led complex projects, exchanged ideas, and learned from diverse teams.
Currently, I’m excited to contribute to the Biofabrication and Bio-Instructive Materials research group, where we explore a range of fascinating projects. My particular research interest lies in engineering 3D tissue models that mimic the biology and disease processes of tissues like the tendon-bone interface and skin. This work helps us study these systems more closely and opens new possibilities for tissue regeneration and drug development, without relying on animal testing.
