About

With a background in Biology and Molecular Biotechnology, I am interested in developing physiologically relevant tissue models that bridge fundamental biology and biomedical applications. My PhD research focuses on advanced 3D skin models, combining cells, biomaterials, and biofabrication technologies to better understand skin regeneration, ageing, and biological function.

During my studies, I developed experience in cell culture, cell differentiation, and functional biological assays, which now support my work in tissue engineering and biofabrication. I am particularly interested in how cellular microenvironments, material properties, and cell-cell interactions influence tissue development and behaviour.

I enjoy working in multidisciplinary teams and continuously learning new techniques and concepts. Away from research, I enjoy reading, spending time in nature, exploring new topics, and occasionally getting lost in a good video game.
