We are thrilled to celebrate Gosia’s receipt of the 2026 Early-Career Investigator Award, honouring outstanding researchers (2–10 years post-PhD) who show exceptional promise and rising impact in Tissue Engineering and Regenerative Medicine. Leading biofabrication labs at the University of Groningen and the Silesian University of Technology, her research pushes the boundaries of how we build tissues — using melt electrowriting, dynamic and granular bioinks, and multimaterial printing alongside dynamic chemistries to engineer gradient structures with complex, programmable behaviour. The result: materials with fascinating new properties, tailored responsiveness, and built-in programmability that open entirely new possibilities for controlling how cells behave and tissues develop.
